Typical disasters might include serious fires, flood, collapse due to illegal structural works, mould and damp infestation, vehicle impact damage and explosion.

Our first step is to make the building safe. This may need to be done “at arms length” with the use of one or more mobile cranes if the building is substantially instable such as in a gas explosion or serious fire.

Once stabilised, our in-house forensic team are then able to engage with the necessary forensic scientists (for example appointed by either the police or insurance company) to establish the cause of the disaster.
Upon completion of the forensic examination we would establish any necessary site clearance to enable a full reinstatement schedule for works to be prepared.

We act for both Landlords, Tenants, commercial organisations and private individuals. We have an in-house site investigation company who assist in the assessment in the cause of damage and a backup forensic team should detailed analysis be required.

We operate with close attention to Health and Safety, acting as Principal Designer under the CDM Regulations 2015 and offer advice to Clients and Contractors with respect to their duties.
