Our initial involvement will often commence with an examination of a building to identify any defects and an assessment of whether the damage is covered by an insured peril. Such damage may for example result from subsidence, storm damage, flood, fire or vehicle impact. We will arrange and carry out all necessary site investigations and forensic tests to support where necessary and insurance claim.

In the case of refurbishment projects, we will help the client develop a brief for the works, and then move on to the production of a schedule of works, specifications and contract documents.

We have an established selection of experienced and approved contractors on our records, from which we can select the most appropriate contractors to tender for the project. The tendering procedure is open and transparent, and the client is involved in every step.

We act for both landlords, tenants and private individuals. We have our own in-house site investigation company who assist in the assessment of the cause of damage and provide a backup forensic team should detailed analysis be required.

We operate with close attention to Health and Safety, acting as Principal Designer under the CDM Regulations and offer advice to Clients and Contractors with respect to their duties.
