Following the explosion we attended site and were instructed to oversee the site clearance and make safe works. Also to prepare the site for future development.

// Project Overview

The site presented a tangle of rubble including steel timber and concrete with the added danger of overhanging loose structure.

The rubble had to be cleared whilst allowing the forensic team access to establish the cause of the explosion. Stabilising structure had to be introduced into the remaining buildings to avoid a progressive collapse as the rubble was cleared.

The rubble was eventually cleared, existing buildings stabilised, and the site made available for redevelopment
