The brief was to design a new rear ground floor extension, partial 1st floor extension & loft extension for a semi-detached property.

Project Overview

Planning permission and Building Control submissions were submitted by Wyatt Carruthers Jebb Ltd.

A timber option was proposed to the client for all new superstructure construction, highlighting cost effectiveness and sustainable benefits - however timber was only used wholly for the loft extension as a lightweight option.

The foundations were designed to bypass party wall constraints.

Adaptations to the original design were incorporate for late alteration amendments requested by the client.
